MONTREAL, July 7, 2013 /CNW Telbec/ - As the death toll rises from the Lac-Mégantic train explosion, the United Steelworkers (USW), which represents Montreal, Maine & Atlantic Railway employees, offers its deepest sympathy to community residents who are reeling from this devastating tragedy. 

USW representatives are making themselves available around the clock to all appropriate authorities to help establish a full account and understanding of these tragic events.
