3) Can't use your tickets?
VANOC regrets the inconvenience to ticket holders, and hopes that all spectators will be able to attend the second run on Thursday. For those who are not able to use their event and transportation tickets, they are transferrable to friends and family.
Background:
The decision to postpone was made by the Fédération Internationale de Ski and the Vancouver Organizing Committee for the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games (VANOC).
The Whistler Creekside schedule was carefully planned with several "weather days" built in as it is common in Alpine Skiing for events to be postponed due to weather and race conditions. No competition was originally planned for Thursday at Whistler Creekside, and this does not affect other races scheduled for Friday (Ladies' Slalom) and Saturday (Men's Slalom).
