Lakeview Hotel Investment Corp Announces Election of New Director

WINNIPEG, June 25, 2015 /CNW/ - Lakeview Hotel Investment Corp ("LHIC") is pleased to announce the election of Sean Shore as an Independent Director of Lakeview Hotel Investment Corp. at its Annual General Meeting held earlier today.

Mr. Shore is a lawyer at Canadian Compliance & Regulatory Law where he represents investment dealers, mutual fund dealers, portfolio managers and other registrants in the Canadian investment industry.  He has previously worked as the Chief Compliance Officer for the Wellington West Group of Companies, in a senior compliance role with National Bank Financial Ltd., and as a Director and Legal Counsel for a national mutual fund dealer.  Mr. Shore holds law degrees from the University of Manitoba and from the London School of Economics and has been practicing law since 1995.

Mr. Shore will become a member of the Audit and the Governance and Compensation Committees of the Board of Lakeview Hotel Investment Corp.

Mr. Shore replaces Gary Coleman who served on the Board of Lakeview Hotel Investment Corp. and Lakeview Real Estate Investment Trust since 2004.  Lakeview Hotel Investment Corp. would like to take this opportunity to thank Mr. Coleman for his valuable contribution to the Board over the years and wishes him success in his future endeavors.
