Lakeview Hotel REIT Announces Appointment of New Trustee

WINNIPEG, April 28 /CNW/ - Lakeview Hotel Real Estate Investment Trust ("Lakeview REIT") announced today that Jerry Rubin has been appointed as an independent Trustee of Lakeview REIT. Mr. Rubin fills the vacancy created by the departure of Oliver Plett, who resigned as a Trustee.

Mr. Rubin has extensive financial and general management experience. Mr. Rubin is currently the Vice President, Wealth Planning Group at a leading Canadian investment management firm. Prior to this he spent 14 years in the Winnipeg Offices of two international accounting firms. He is a Certified Management Accountant, and also holds Trust and Estate Practitioner and Certified Financial Planner designations.
