Lamp Recall

FOOTHILL RANCH, CA, Feb. 10 /CNW/ - Innovage, LLC of Foothill Ranch, CA announces the voluntary recall of certain Discovery Kids(TM) Marine and Safari Lamps, sold from July 2009 through January 2010 , the lamp can experience an electrical short, posing a fire and burn hazard to consumers. The batch of Lamps affected and subject to recall are limited to those with a batch numbers beginning with a 2. The batch number is an 11-digit number stamped on the bottom of each Lamp and on the bottom of the box in which each Lamp was sold. Innovage has received nine reports of smoke/fire incidents involving the lamp. One smoke inhalation injury to a child was reported. Owners of Lamps with batch numbers beginning with a 2 are asked to immediately stop using the Lamps and return the Lamps to Innovage, LLC for a full refund.
