CHÂTEAUGUAY, QC, Dec. 7, 2015 /CNW Telbec/ - The ministère des Transports du Québec wishes to inform road users that surveying work will require the closure of one lane on the Honoré-Mercier Bridge (toward Châteauguay) on Wednesday, December 9th and Thursday December 10th from 21 p.m. to 5 a.m. If needed, the work will continue on Monday December 14th at the same time.
Those interventions might be shortened or cancelled due to work progression, weather conditions or operational constraints.
Between 2015 and 2017, about $4.9 billion will be invested by the ministère des Transports in the road network, and approximately 33 500 workers will be working on some 1 900 construction sites throughout Québec. In the Greater Montréal area alone, over 17 300 workers will be present on about 350 construction sites. To plan your trips and find out about current and projected traffic hindrance, consult the Mobility Montréal section of the Québec511.info website. Respecting road signs is vital for the safety of road users and workers.
