Quotes
"By improving mobility in our region we are giving back to the residents of Saguenay that which is most precious to them – more time with their family and those closest to them. The projects announced today will allow the population to profit from a public transit service that is adapted to their reality. Improving the quality of life for the people of Quebec is a priority for our government and we are providing the capacity to manage our public finances in a rigorous fashion. Today, we are demonstrating how, together, we can build a new Quebec where transportation is modern, attractive and efficient."
Philippe Couillard, Premier of Quebec, Minister Responsible for the Saguenay–Lac-Saint-Jean Region, and Member of the National Assembly for Roberval
"The Government of Canada is investing in projects to help build sustainable communities while promoting economic development and the growth of the middle class. The public transit projects announced today will help reduce commute times and greenhouse gas emissions while enhancing the overall user experience and preparing Saguenay for future growth."

"STS users will benefit from a modern, improved public transit system that better responds to their needs. At the same time, the City must also adjust and adapt its services to meet the needs of the region's largest employers and I believe these projects align perfectly with our vision of creating sustainable mobility and building a student city."
