PETERSBURG, FL, and MISSISSAUGA, ON, Dec. 1 /CNW/ - Today, Smith & Nephew's Advanced Wound Management division (LSE: SN) (NYSE: SNN) and HealthPRO Procurement Services, Inc., the largest healthcare group purchasing organization (GPO) in Canada, announced a new contract which expands access for RENASYS - G NPWT Systems to all HealthPRO shareholders, who are committed to the contact, offering more choice in NPWT for clinicians and patients.
The new five-year contract will go into effect on December 1, 2010. HealthPRO has 251 shareholders with members located in British Columbia, Alberta, Manitoba, Ontario, Nova Scotia, Newfoundland and Labrador, Nunavut, Northwest Territories and Yukon and manages $1.54 billion in contract volume.
