Last Chance to Enter TVO's "Where's Polkaroo?" Photo Contest
TORONTO, Nov. 2 /CNW/ - With two weeks left to go in the "Where's Polkaroo?" photo contest, TVO invites all Ontarians to send in your photos of the province's most special places to polkaroo.com.
TVO's "Where's Polkaroo?" photo contest, part of TVO's 40th anniversary celebrations, is the perfect opportunity to re-visit and photograph some of your favourite local places with one of the province's most beloved icons - Polkaroo.
Photo entries have been sent in from all parts of the province including: Ottawa, Kingston, Toronto, London, Waterloo, Kitchener, Guelph, Peterborough, Thunder Bay, Sudbury and Windsor. And Polkaroo has been captured in photos from family outings to community hubs such as Saunders Farm in Ottawa, Niagara Falls, the Toronto Zoo and museums, parks and beaches across Ontario.
Contest details are as follows:
- Contestants are eligible to win a day behind-the-scenes at TVO's Toronto studios.
- Photo of the Day winners will receive a Where's Polkaroo? t-shirt.
- There are two ways to enter: (1) Download and print Polkaroo, snap a picture and upload the photo to polkaroo.com. (2) "Polkaroo" your favourite photo by using the digital photo creator on the contest site.
- The contest runs from September 26 to November 14.

Show your civic pride by showcasing your local community centre, school or a popular historic monument. Is your favourite place a museum, park or library or something off the beaten track? Once you've entered, you can mark your community on the map at polkaroo.com and show all of Ontario your pride of place.
