MONTREAL, June 11, 2013 /CNW Telbec/ - Laurentian Bank is extremely proud to be serving as a partner and principal collaborator in Montréal's Fête nationale du Québec festivities this coming June 24. Through its financial participation, the Bank will contribute to the presentation of activities in the city under the theme, Le Québec en nous, d'hier à demain.
"As the third oldest enterprise in Montréal that has been at the service of the Québec population for 167 years, it is perfectly natural for Laurentian Bank to be associated with this event," underlines Gladys Caron, Vice-President of Public Affairs, Communications and Investor Relations. "We are delighted indeed to be celebrating our collective belonging to Québec society in this special way!"
Laurentian Bank will be at the very heart of the festivities throughout the course of the day and will be actively involved in all of the activities — from the colourful parade, to the spectacular show. The Bank's Little Heroes Club will also be on hand from 1:00 p.m. to early evening in the family area at Parc Maisonneuve. In addition, the Bank will be helping to illuminate the big show at night and make the ambiance even more festive by distributing glowing neckbands. The blowout show will feature the likes of Marie-Mai, Diane Dufresne, Pierre Lapointe, Raôul Duguay, Richard Séguin, Samian, Koriass, Manu Militari, le collectif hommage aux Colocs and Ano Dajay, while Guy A. Lepage and the Porn Flakes will run the happening.
Pleased to be helping perpetuate the great tradition of June 24 festivities, Laurentian Bank is inviting all Montréalers and residents of surrounding areas to come celebrate La Fête nationale du Québec in Montréal. More information about the event and its varied programming is available online at www.fetenationale-montreal.qc.ca/.
