<p>The Top Singles competition began this week, on <span class="xn-chron">April 19</span>. Canadian singles can sign up for Lavalife and join the competition. The Top 10 Singles receive an all-expense-paid trip to <span class="xn-location">Toronto</span> for the <span class="xn-person">Summer Lovin</span>' festival. Thousands of entries are then narrowed to a Top 10 of five men and five women. Celebrity judges include <span class="xn-person">Zack Werner</span> (Canadian Idol), Aliya-Jasmine from MTV, Jimmy T from Virgin Radio and <span class="xn-person">Kim Hughes</span>, Lavalife's Singles and Dating Expert.</p>

<p>The <span class="xn-person">Summer Lovin</span>' weekend kicks off with a launch party at C Lounge on Thursday night; Friday afternoon mix and mingle with beach volleyball, rock climbing, human joust and other outdoor activities; Saturday includes an interactive cooking class with famed chef <span class="xn-person">Paul Boehmer</span>, a private tour of the AGO and mixology at BarChef restaurant.  The grand finale event takes place on Saturday night, <span class="xn-chron">July 17</span>, and features a performance by recording artist Jason Derulo who has topped the charts with his songs "In My Head" and "Whatcha Say." The winners of the Top Singles competition will be announced at this event.</p>
