Hundreds of singles gathered for a live performance by <span class="xn-person">Warner Music</span> recording artist Jason Derulo and the much anticipated announcement of the winners of the fourth annual Lavalife Top Singles competition.</p>

<p>After months of lobbying for the win, two Canadians - one man, one woman - now boast the undisputed title of the nation's most dynamic single. <span class="xn-person">Tosha Ford</span>, nickname LTSMILEY, from Mississauga, ON and Liam McNamara, nickname NOVAMAC, from Moncton, NB won the 2010 title of Top Single and the grand prize of <span class="xn-money">$5,000</span> each.</p>

<p>Ford, a vibrant 30-year-old, is training to be a police officer; she loves spending time with friends and family, cooking and traveling. McNamara, a 32-year-old actor, also runs his family wine and beer business. When not working, he can be found tucked behind a good book or on the beach.</p>

<p>"Tosha is an effervescent and ambitious woman who knows exactly what she is looking for and undoubtedly will find it," says <span class="xn-person">Kim Hughes</span>, Lavalife singles and dating expert and one of the celebrity judges. "And Liam's charisma and charm will bring him much success."</p>

<p>Each year, Lavalife, the leader in online dating, searches for the nation's most dynamic singles. Men and women from across <span class="xn-location">Canada</span> vied for the coveted role. Thousands were narrowed to the Top 10, who received an all-expenses paid trip to <span class="xn-location">Toronto</span>.</p>

<p>This year, the Top Singles competition was part of Lavalife's <span class="xn-person">Summer Lovin</span>' celebration, an action packed weekend calling singles from all over <span class="xn-location">Canada</span> to celebrate their single life with evening events, a day at Polson Pier, mixology, cooking and a tour of the AGO.</p>

<p>Second place winner, <span class="xn-person">Meagan Badger</span> of <span class="xn-location">Calgary</span>, AB, nickname QTPII, took home an all expenses paid trip and third place winner, Delphine of <span class="xn-location">Toronto</span>, ON, nickname VOTE_FOR_ME_2010, took home a cheque for <span class="xn-money">$1,000</span>.</p>
