Law Commission of Ontario and IP Osgoode Co-host Symposium on e-Health Law
and Policy

TORONTO , Jan. 27 /CNW/ - On Thursday, January 28 the Law Commission of Ontario and Osgoode Hall Law School's Intellectual Property Law and Technology Program (IP Osgoode) will co-host a Symposium on e-Health Law and Policy in Toronto . The keynote speaker will be Professor Giuseppina D'Agostino, OHLS LCO Scholar in Residence.

As a key step in the project Professor Giuseppina D'Agostino has undertaken on the interaction of IP, ethics and privacy issues related to electronic medical records, IP Osgoode and the LCO have invited experts and professionals to discuss these issues. The Symposium will bring together academics, legal practitioners, medical and health care professionals, government officials and community organizations.
