TORONTO, Feb. 10, 2017 /CNW/ - All LCBO stores will be closed on Monday, February 20th for Family Day, a statutory holiday under the Retail Business and Holidays Act.
Some LCBO agency stores will observe their normal hours of business on February 20, if they have approval to open from their local municipality. Agency stores are locally-owned retailers that contract with LCBO to sell beverage alcohol, along with other products, in communities that are too small to support LCBO stores.
For more information, customers should contact the toll-free, bilingual helloLCBO Contact Centre at 1-800-ONT-LCBO (668-5226) or online at www.helloLCBO.com. In Toronto, call 416 365-5900 or our mobile number #LCBO (5226). The TTY number for the deaf and hard of hearing is 416-864-6898 or 1-800-361-3291. All LCBO offices, including LCBO Customer Service and the helloLCBO Contact Centre, will also be closed on Family Day.
Through e-commerce at www.lcbo.com, customers can shop for beverage alcohol products 24/7, 365 days a year, for delivery to home at a nominal flat fee, or for pickup, free of charge, at one of 657 LCBO stores province-wide.
For people entertaining over the Family Day long weekend, LCBO store staff can provide tips and recipes to help them entertain responsibly and help ensure guests get home safely. Responsible hosting information is also available at www.alwaystakingcare.ca.
Don't forget to bring a reusable bag when you shop at LCBO and please take your empty beverage alcohol containers (large and small glass bottles, PET plastic, Tetra Pak cartons, bag-in-box and cans) to The Beer Store for a full deposit refund.
