LCBO Extends Hours for Holiday Shoppers

TORONTO, Dec. 12, 2012 /CNW/ - For the convenience of holiday shoppers, many LCBO stores have begun extending their hours. During December, many stores that normally close at 6:00 p.m. will stay open as late as 10:00 p.m., while stores that normally stay open late will maintain their regular hours.

Some LCBO stores are also extending their hours on Sundays. On Sunday, December 23, many LCBO stores will remain open until 8:00 p.m., while some that are normally closed on Sundays will open for this one day.

LCBO stores will open at regular hours and close at 6:00 p.m. on Christmas Eve, Monday, December 24, and on New Year's Eve, Monday, December 31.

All LCBO stores and head office will be closed on Christmas Day, Tuesday, December 25, Boxing Day, Wednesday, December 26 and New Year's Day, Tuesday, January 1, 2013. LCBO stores, head office and the helloLCBO Contact Centre will re-open on Thursday, December 27.

LCBO agency stores must close on Christmas Day and New Year's Day; however, some may choose to open on Boxing Day. Agency stores will observe regular hours on Sunday, December 23 and will not extend their hours.

Customers should check for individual store hours with their local LCBO store or online at www.lcbo.com using the 'Store Search' feature.
