MONTREAL, Oct. 22, 2013 /CNW Telbec/ - The Business Development Bank of Canada's (BDC) work environment has earned the organization its eighth consecutive honour as one of Canada's Top 100 Employers.
"This recognition reaffirms that BDC's commitment to cultivating a positive, productive workplace is having an impact," says Mary Karamanos, Senior Vice President, Human Resources at BDC. "While the pool of applicants grows every year, we're honoured to have made the Top 100 Employers list for eight consecutive years now."
Canada's Top 100 Employers competition is the largest editorial project of its kind in Canada, with thousands of employers taking part in each year's application process. Employers are evaluated on a variety of criteria including work atmosphere and social opportunities, benefits, training and development, performance management, community involvement and physical workspace.
In 2012, BDC ranked among Canada's best employers in four different categories: Diversity, New Canadians, Canadians over 40 and Top Montreal Employers.
