Learn how to "Elevate Your Influence" from Women of Influence

Women of Influence partners with Knightsbridge Human Capital Solutions, to offer unique professional development program.

TORONTO , Jan. 18 /CNW/ - Women of Influence is joining forces with Knightsbridge Human Capital Solutions to launch a unique new professional development program specifically designed to help professional women elevate their influence in their workplace.

A recent Economist article stated, "...women's rising aspirations have not been fulfilled. They have been encouraged to climb onto the occupational ladder only to discover that the middle rungs are dominated by men and the upper rungs are out of reach."

"We know that women are well on their way to closing the gap in terms of their contribution to the economy. And through our events and programs we see common themes for success among those women who have obtained the top job. One of the most consistently asked questions is: how do I advance? To fully answer that question we joined forces with Knightsbridge to develop a program to help more women get the necessary skills they need to better advance their careers," says Carolyn Lawrence , President, Women of Influence.

Knightsbridge and Women of Influence have designed a program of particular interest to three specific audiences: trailblazers approaching the summit of their career; entrepreneurs and high potential emerging business leaders.

"We hope to provide participants with a pragmatic program that focuses on introducing important influencing strategies, combined with practical skills to help participants make a stronger positive impact in increasingly complex business environments. The end goal is to increase confidence through applied learning and through connecting and networking with peers through shared learning experiences," says Liane Davey , Principal at Knightsbridge.
