MONTRÉAL, Nov. 1, 2017 /CNW Telbec/ - In November, the official programming for the 375th anniversary of Montréal continues with the multidisciplinary exhibition Leonard Cohen – Une brèche en toute chose/A Crack in Everything. It features previously unseen pieces that draw on the world, recurring themes and work of the great Montrealer Leonard Cohen.

Leonard Cohen - Une brèche en toute chose
The MAC presents Leonard Cohen – A Crack in Everything, a major international exhibition presented as part of the 375th anniversary of Montréal. This multidisciplinary exhibition presents a collection of new pieces commissioned from and created by local and international artists that draw on the aesthetic of and recurrent themes from the work of Leonard Cohen.
Plus, for the first anniversary of Leonard Cohen's death, fans of Montréal and the celebrated poet are invited to gather at the foot of Silo No. 5, on November 7 at 6 p.m., to pay tribute to him. The MAC will inaugurate an imposing, silent work by artist Jenny Holzer.

Lutter, c'est Vivre !!! : Éva Circé-Côté
The exhibition TO FIGHT IS TO LIVE!!! is a tribute to the free-thinking Montrealer Éva Circé-Côté (1871-1949). This is an invitation to explore not only the life of the woman who founded the first library in Montreal (1903) and her cultural legacy but also the history of the city that is celebrating 375 years.
