MONTREAL, Dec. 4, 2018 /CNW/ - Rideau, a leader in employee recognition solutions and employee engagement strategy, recently announced the expanded role of Chief Technology Officer, Patrick Elalouf, to include Chief Operating Officer. Elalouf will replace Rideau's current Chief Operating Officer, Stephen Hart, who is retiring after 43 years for Rideau.
"With the growing importance of technology in all operational functions, the decision to widen the breadth of our technology officer into the role of operations was one that made great sense", said Rideau's President and CEO, Peter W. Hart.
Elalouf has an extensive technical background with leading the analysis, design and implementation of Rideau's current technology strategy. Elalouf's expanded role into operations will create greater focus on all aspects of technology – including client-facing solutions, internal systems, accounting, vendor administration and inventory management.
Says Elalouf, "My experience in technology has brought me many insights into operations. I will utilize that experience and knowledge to streamline operational efficiencies utilizing technology as one of the tools. I look forward to continuing in Stephen's footsteps and positively impact our customers and our industry as a whole."
Elalouf will continue to work from Rideau's Montreal home office.
"It is impossible to mention Patrick's promotion without giving a big nod to Stephen Hart", says Peter. "Stephen has worked every department during his time with Rideau and we would not be one today's leading recognition companies without his tireless service. We wish him and his family nothing but the best during this next (and well deserved) chapter of his life."
