THORNHILL, ON, April 25, 2017 /CNW/ - There is less than a week remaining for Ontarians to vote in the annual CAA Worst Roads campaign.
Burlington Street East (Hamilton), Dufferin Street (Toronto) and Duckworth Street (Barrie) are among the top contenders for spots on the provincial Top 10 list. Currently, three of the roads sitting on the Top 10 list are from the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area (GTHA).
"It's clear that this campaign is resonating across the province," said Raymond Chan, government relations, CAA South Central Ontario. "We have had a strong response as we toured the province, as people are taking the opportunity to have their voices heard on the quality of our roadways."
CAA is encouraging all Ontarians to cast their vote for the province's Worst Road before the campaign closes May 1st.
Last year, County Road 49 in Prince Edward County was named Ontario's Worst Road.
Current Top 10 standings can be viewed and votes can be cast at caaworstroads.com. CAA will release Ontario's top 10 Worst Roads for 2017, as well as a list of top 5 regional lists in the coming weeks.
