Conservative Leader won't reverse tax package

LONDON , ON, Nov. 20 /CNW/ - At a meeting today of the London Chamber of Commerce, Liberal MPP Khalil Ramal exposed Conservative Leader Tim Hudak's hypocrisy on the HST.

During a question & answer session, Ramal asked Hudak if he was so opposed to the tax reform package, which will create nearly 600,000 jobs and cut taxes for 93% of Ontario families, why won't he commit to reversing a single one of them.

Hudak ducked and dodged and refused to commit to reversing a single tax change the McGuinty government has proposed.

"We have a plan that will create about 600,000 new jobs and cut taxes for 93% of Ontario families. Tim Hudak huffs and puffs but won't commit to reverse our tax changes," said Liberal MPP Khalil Ramal ( London - Fanshawe). "I exposed that hypocrisy to Londoners today."
