GATINEAU, QC, May 21, 2024 /CNW/ - Library and Archives Canada is inviting members of the press to a Media Preview on Thursday, May 23, 2024, prior to its next Open House event at the Preservation Campus in Gatineau, Quebec.
Jasmine Bouchard, Assistant Deputy Minister of User Experience and Engagement, and Nathalie Ethier, Director of Real Property, will be available to speak to media regarding the Open House event and the preservation facilities. Members of the media will be given a guided tour of the two state-of-the-art buildings to capture footage and photos and get a preview of what's in store for the public over the next two days.

For the first time since opening in 2022, the newest Preservation Storage Facility, commonly called "The Big White Cube" will open its doors to the public on May 24 and 25. Visitors will also have the chance to explore the Preservation Centre, visit the laboratories and vaults, and most importantly, meet the experts who work to preserve Canada's documentary heritage.
