LONDON, ON, March 20, 2012 /CNW/ - Stephen Bolton, President & CEO, Head Coach of Libro Financial Group is pleased to announce the appointment of Jeff Segeren as Libro's new Advice & Service Delivery Coach, Vice President Advice & Service Delivery, effective April 1, 2012.
"Jeff is a highly respected leader among the staff teams he supports and the community alike," says Stephen Bolton, President & CEO. "I look forward to working with Jeff in his new role and welcome him to the Executive Leadership Team at Libro."
Segeren started his career at Libro as Loans Officer in 1988. He also worked as a Farm Loans Manager and Branch Manager in Watford, London East and London Downtown before becoming Regional Manager for London and area in 2005. With Jeff's leadership, the London Region has grown to be Libro's largest.
Jeff holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Windsor, and is a Fellow of the Credit Union Institute of Canada. Jeff is an active community volunteer and is a member of the London Home Builder's Association, London Chamber of Commerce and the Credit Union Manager's Association. He sits on the Junior Achievement Board of Directors and Advisory Board of Trustees and is a committee member for the London Chamber of Commerce Golf Tournament, St. Joseph's Breakfast of Champions, and United Way Microloan/Matched Savings program. Jeff has four children and lives with his wife Fiona in London.
"Libro is a people business, and I know our staff and owners have the answers to ensure Libro's continued success," says Segeren. "Growing up I was always taught to do the right thing, not just told what the right thing was; I had to figure it out on my own, by listening and asking good questions. This is an ongoing journey."
"I find the same thing here at Libro. Staff and owners continuously teach me what is the 'right thing'. They have taught me it's not always about numbers on a balance sheet. Sometimes it's about listening, other times about lending a helping hand, sometimes about giving back. The position of Advice & Service Delivery Coach helps me continue this journey and I'm looking forward to helping people in new ways."
