Libro Financial Group Launches Community Builder Scholarship Program
LONDON, ON, March 15, 2012 /CNW/ - Libro Financial Group launched a new $30,000 scholarship program today - the Libro Financial Group Community Builder Scholarships.
Ten, $3,000 scholarships will be awarded to students 17 to 25 in southwestern Ontario who demonstrate outstanding commitment to developing leadership skills while participating in community development projects. Libro knows that by supporting these young leaders we all win. Students attending college, university, a technical institute or private college are all eligible to apply.
"Libro has been committed to youth leadership in southwestern Ontario for a number of years," says Tania Goodine, Vice President Brand. "We return 5% of annual profit to our communities and this scholarship program further builds on that commitment, and supports young people as they continue their personal journey of education and community building."
Applications are being accepted online at www.libro.ca until June 15, 2012. Notification of decisions will be made by July 31, 2012.
