Lights on successful balanced women entrepreneurs - Femmessor Montreal, first 'Successful and Balanced' Gala Honorary president, Danièle Henkel

MONTREAL, May 10, 2012 /CNW Telbec/ - Femmessor-Montreal launches today the Femmessor-Montreal, Successful and Balanced contest. This new recognition award aims at revealing women entrepreneurs from Montréal as true models and demonstrating that entrepreneurial success is compatible with other aspects of personal life balance.

The Femmessor-Montreal, Successful and Balanced contest begins with the selection of five finalists from these categories: non-traditional trades, service business, retail, tourism and agribusiness, new technology and information and communications technology. The finalists will be announced over a period of 5 months, starting in September. One of them will be honored at the first Femmessor-Montreal Successful and balanced gala to be held Monday, February 11, 2013.

"Women entrepreneurs have developed the ability to reconcile their business life with family responsibilities, community involvement and self-care. These women are truly an inspiration to other business women and to entrepreneurs in the making", says Danièle Henkel, Honorary President of the Femmessor-Montreal, Successful and Balanced event.

Winners of Femmessor-Montreal, Successful and Balanced should become inspiring role models for new business women who, like them, will have to reconcile work and personal life." Different models in various sectors can inspire women who want to make their business grow", says Mrs Elise Tessier, CEO at Femmessor Montreal, the event organizer.

To participate, the candidate must be at least 18 years old and be an active entrepreneur within the company. The business must be located on the Montreal Island and submit its last three years financial reports.
