L'International des Feux Loto-Québec unveils its 2015 Programme - On the road with Madonna and Vivaldi

MONTREAL, March 26, 2015 /CNW Telbec/ - La Ronde proudly presents the 31st edition of L'International des Feux Loto-Québec. In keeping with tradition, this year's edition is a succession of world-class displays. From July 1st to August 1st, on Saturday and Wednesday nights, Montreal's sky will light up with outstanding fireworks displays by some of the greatest pyrotechnic artists of the world.

The programme of this 31st edition is quite eclectic and truly outstanding. The season will open with a Salute to Our Troops featuring a very lively soundtrack performed by the musicians from the Royal 22^nd Régiment Band. Other themes will include a Pyro-History of Rock'n'Roll, an invitation to an amazing Road Trip, and a pyro musical journey through the Four Seasons of Vivaldi. The event will conclude with a Tribute to Madonna, featuring mega hits such as Like a Prayer, Don't cry for me Argentina, and the Grammy Award winning singer's most recent hit, Living for Love.

The event, which was originally known as Concours international d'art pyrotechnique de Montréal (Montreal International Fireworks Competition) was launched in 1985. Today it is the most prestigious event of its kind in the world and it has been a member of the Major International Events Network (MIEN) since 2000.
