SANTA MONICA, Calif. and VANCOUVER, British Columbia, July 18, 2013 /CNW/ - LIONSGATE's ® (NYSE: LGF) acclaimed AMC drama MAD MEN, hit Showtime comedy NURSE JACKIE and ABC drama NASHVILLE earned a total of 18 Emmy® nominations today, including a sixth consecutive drama series nomination for MAD MEN; a fourth consecutive comedy nomination for four-time Emmy® winner Edie Falco, who won the Lead Actress trophy for her role in the first season of NURSE JACKIE; and a nomination for NASHVILLE's Connie Britton as Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series.

MAD MEN scored 12 nominations, including nods for Jon Hamm as Lead Actor (sixth drama nomination), Elisabeth Moss as Lead Actress (fourth nomination in this category), Christina Hendricks as Supporting Actress (fourth nomination), Robert Morse as Guest Actor, Harry Hamlin as Guest Actor, and Linda Cardellini as Guest Actress, in addition to the Outstanding Drama Series nomination and nods for Cinematography, Single-Camera Picture Editing, Hairstyling, Makeup and Sound Mixing.
In addition to Edie Falco's nomination for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series and Merritt Wever's nod for Outstanding Supporting Actress (second nomination), NURSE JACKIE earned nominations for Bobby Cannavale as Guest Actor (second nomination in this category), as well as Casting and Sound Mixing.
Connie Britton earned a nomination for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series for NASHVILLE, her first nomination for the freshman series and her third nod in this category.
