SERIES DEBUTS DURING DHX TELEVISION'S MONTH-LONG FREE PREVIEW EVENT
TORONTO, March 8, 2016 /CNW/ - New faces are making their way onto Family Jr. as the new imagination-infused preschool series Little People debuts on the channel. Based on the popular toy franchise from Mattel, Little People is welcomed with a special presentation on Monday, March 14 at 12 p.m. ET. Encouraging imaginative play for preschoolers, the new show will be available in more than 10 million households across the country as all of DHX Television's networks are currently on Free Preview for the month of March.
Set out on an imaginative adventure with a group of fun-loving preschoolers who love to discover the worlds inside their imaginations. Little People travels inside the minds of its characters with music, comedy and creativity as they play together. With every adventure sparked by a real world event they've encountered, they can turn an ordinary sandbox into a fantastic fairytale and a puppet show can launch them on a high seas adventure in a pirate ship. Prior to the episode, fans can see the special Thomas & Friends: Misty Island Rescue beginning at 11 a.m. ET. Little People was produced at DHX Studios' Halifax location and following the special presentation on March 14, the series will premiere on Monday, March 21 at 3:55 p.m. ET and new episodes will air regularly Mondays in this timeslot.
