TORONTO, May 10, 2014 /CNW/ - Good fortune has shone on Ontario once again - there is a single winning ticket sold in Toronto from the Friday, May 9, 2014 LOTTO MAX draw. The ticket is worth $50,000,000.
There were other prize winning tickets sold in Ontario. There were three winning MAXMILLIONS tickets sold in Mississauga, Hamilton and Oakville, worth $1 million each. A ticket, worth $269,545.70, sold in Colborne shares in the second prize with a ticket sold in Western Canada. Also one ENCORE ticket, worth $1,000,000, was sold in Hamilton.
Since its launch in September 2009, Ontario LOTTO MAX players have won over $2 billion in prizes, including 34 jackpot wins and 205 winning MAXMILLIONS tickets from all across the province.
For each $5 play, LOTTO MAX players receive three sets of seven numbers ranging from one to forty-nine. Players must match all seven numbers, in any one set, to win the jackpot and the MAXMILLIONS prizes.
Next week's LOTTO MAX jackpot will be an estimated $13 million.
