Loblaw changes dispensing fees at Ontario nofrills(R) pharmacies
BRAMPTON, ON, June 14 /CNW/ - Loblaw Companies Limited (Loblaw) is pleased to announce today that it has changed the Usual and Customary dispensing fees for drug products to one common fee at all its nofrills(R) banner store pharmacies in Ontario. Additionally, pharmacies in nofrills will continue to reduce the co-payment on customer's Ontario Drug Benefits eligible prescriptions by $2.00.
"Since their induction in 1978, nofrills stores have been providing great value for their customers," said Andrew Iacobucci, senior vice-president, Drug Business Unit, Loblaw Companies Limited. "The move reinforces the nofrills stores' commitment to bring great prices every day and complements the convenience of in-store pharmacy services from highly trained and trusted professionals."
Today's announcement builds on recent changes Loblaw has made to some of its overall pharmacy services in Ontario banner stores. From rolling out new information technology to improve prescription processing times and implementing new methods to allow pharmacists to spend more time with their patients and extending hours at select Loblaw banner stores to recruiting incremental pharmacy staff to help ensure customers' needs are met, these efforts are focused towards providing the best service and value.
