Local high school students to compete in the VEX Robotics Competition World Championship this month
Wednesday, April 4th at Rick Hansen Secondary School in Mississauga meet the students and their robots who will compete against the best in the world

WHAT: | Students from Rick Hansen Secondary School in Mississauga and the E-Bots After School Robotics Program Oakville will compete against some of the best young innovators in the world April 19th - 21st at the VEX Robotics Competition World Championship in Anaheim, CA. |
More than 10,000 middle school, high school and university students from nearly 20 countries will compete in this global competition. More than just an exercise in programming and driving robots, these kids are using robotics to hone critical life skills including leadership, teamwork and project management, while increasing their understanding, interest and passion in the fields of science, technology, engineering and math. Through robotics, these students are being shaped into tomorrow's visionaries who will create the next big improvements in technology. | |
