Lorica Investment Counsel Inc. Completes Marquest Canadian Fixed Income Fund Transaction

TORONTO, Jan. 17, 2019 /CNW/ - Lorica Investment Counsel Inc. ("Lorica") is pleased to announce that it has completed the acquisition of the management contract of the Marquest Canadian Fixed Income Fund (the "Fund"), a retail mutual fund managed by Marquest Asset Management Inc., together with the data, records, and documents relating to the Fund and has assumed the trustee, investment fund management and portfolio advisory functions for the Fund (the "Transaction").

The Transaction closed on January 16, 2019. Lorica will file an amended and restated simplified prospectus for the Fund under its new name "Lorica Canadian Fixed Income Fund" as soon as practicable. Such filing will be made under a new SEDAR profile and the Fund's continuous disclosure documents will be migrated to such new profile.
