MONTREAL, Feb. 12, 2013 /CNW Telbec/ - Loto-Québec is highly enthusiastic about its front row role among the premier Rendez-vous du cinéma québécois (RVCQ) partners for the second straight year. This remarkable showcase of Québec cinema for more than 30 years now returns at various venues in the Latin Quarter of Montréal, from February 21st to March 3rd.
The RVCQ annual celebration of our movies targets both cinema professionals and the general public thanks to a broad diversity of genres and cinematographic concepts and a generous and eclectic program. With a sterling reputation earned over the years, the RVCQ has become a "must attend" event in Québec's cultural and festival landscape.
In addition to providing financial support for the festival, Loto-Québec is presenting Plan large III - Le cinéma québécois en photo, a free outdoor exhibit on rue Émery until March 19, 2013. The 12 featured photographs, taken by talented young Montréal photographers, capture directors and actors who had an impact on the Québec movie world in 2012. The exhibit will also tour to three Québec cities from mid-May to mid-August 2013.
Whether through its support for a variety of festivals and events held in all regions of Québec or its support for Québec visual and stage arts, Loto-Québec contributes to cultural development throughout the province.
