$50 million jackpot and 55 Maxmillions
MONTREAL, June 19 /CNW Telbec/ - 30 Maxmillions ($1 million each) were won in last night's Lotto Max draw thanks to selections sold in The Prairies, Ontario, Atlantic Provinces, British Columbia and Québec. The Friday, June 25, draw will therefore offer total prizes worth a record $105 million, including the $50 million jackpot and 55 $1 million dollar prizes. The number of Maxmillions includes those that were not won in the June 18 draw in addition to those generated from new sales for the next draw.
With Lotto Max, any amount over the $50 million jackpot is divided into $1 million prizes called Maxmillions. For each Maxmillions, an additional selection of 7 numbers between 1 and 49 is drawn. These selections are not decomposable and prizes may be shared by winners.
