MONTRÉAL, Jan. 1, 2020 /CNW Telbec/ - Yesterday's Lotto Max draw resulted in 4 Maxmillions (one-million-dollar prizes) being won thanks to selections sold in Québec, Ontario and The Prairies. Total prizes for the next Lotto Max draw on Friday, January 3, will be approximately $80 million, including a record jackpot of $70 million, a first-ever for this lottery, and approximately 10 Maxmillions (one-million-dollar prizes).
"Since the start of 2019, the Lotto Max jackpot has been won in Québec five times. A lucky family took home $65,000,000 in June—at the time, it was the biggest jackpot in Canadian history. We hope that this lucky streak that Quebecers are on will continue, and that the latest record jackpot—$70,000,000—will be won here again," says Isabelle Jean, President of Operations – Lotteries and Vice-President of Public Affairs.
