TORONTO, April 26, 2014 /CNW/ - Spring has finally sprung and with it the LOTTO MAX jackpot hits $50 million for the first time this season. The draw on Friday, May 2, 2014 will offer an estimated $50 million jackpot plus an estimated 2 MAXMILLIONS prizes of $1 million each.
There were two winning tickets in the province from last night's draw. A ticket sold in Toronto, worth $380,626.80, won the second prize pool. Also, a winning ENCORE ticket worth $100,000 was sold in Trenton.
Since its launch in September 2009, Ontario LOTTO MAX players have won over $2 billion in prizes, including 32 jackpot wins and 204 winning MAXMILLIONS tickets from all across the province.
For each $5 play, LOTTO MAX players receive three sets of seven numbers ranging from one to forty-nine. Players must match all seven numbers, in any one set, to win the jackpot and the MAXMILLIONS prizes.
Players can purchase tickets at authorized OLG retailers until 9 p.m. Friday, May 2, 2014 for the draw that evening.
