Many Ontarians Purchase MAXMILLIONS Winning Tickets
TORONTO, Oct. 20, 2012 /CNW/ - Ontarians are celebrating this weekend knowing they have LOTTO MAX tickets worth large prizes won in last night's (October 19, 2012) draw.
Of the 26 MAXMILLIONS drawn last night, here are where the winning tickets were sold in Ontario:
- $1,000,000 ticket, sold in Mississauga Region
- $500,000 ticket, sold in Toronto (shared with ticket sold in Western Canada)
- $500,000 ticket, sold in Sault Ste Marie (shared with ticket sold in Western Canada)
- $333,333.40 ticket, sold in Toronto and Pickering (shared with a ticket sold in British Columbia)
And there is more exciting news. As there was no winning ticket for the $50 million LOTTO MAX jackpot last night, the upcoming LOTTO MAX draw for Friday October 26, 2012 is once again an estimated $50 million. Additionally, there are an estimated 50 separate $1 million MAXMILLIONS prizes up for grabs, on top of the jackpot, bringing the total prize amount to $100 million!
Since its launch in September 2009, Ontario LOTTO MAX players have won over $1.4 billion in prizes, including 23 jackpot wins and 141 winning MAXMILLIONS tickets from all across the province.
MAXMILLIONS prizes are drawn separately from the LOTTO MAX jackpot draw, which means that a LOTTO MAX ticket not only gives players a chance at $50 million but also the chance to win any of the $1 million MAXMILLIONS draws on the same date.
Tickets are available at official OLG retailers until 9 p.m. EST on Friday, October 26, 2012.
