Secondary prizes won across the province
TORONTO, Dec. 12, 2015 /CNW/ - Next Friday, LOTTO MAX is offering up a whopping estimated $60 million dollar jackpot plus an estimated 21 MAXMILLIONS prizes worth $1 million each. Last night's draw generated several prize-winning tickets sold in Ontario.
There were five second prize tickets, worth $115,403.70 each, sold in Hamilton, Peterborough, Pickering, Toronto and Ottawa. One ENCORE ticket, worth $1,000,000, was sold in Thunder Bay. Plus, two ENCORE tickets, worth $100,000 each, were sold in the Richmond Hill area and Sarnia.
Since its launch in September 2009, Ontario LOTTO MAX players have won over $2.7 billion in prizes, including 42 jackpot wins and 275 winning MAXMILLIONS tickets from all across the province.
For each $5 play, LOTTO MAX players receive three sets of seven numbers ranging from one to forty-nine. Players must match all seven numbers, in any one set, to win the jackpot and the MAXMILLIONS prizes.
Players can purchase tickets at authorized OLG retailers until 10.30 p.m. Friday, December 18, 2015 for the draw that evening.
