Low-income households - Only three months left to replace your refrigerator for less
MONTRÉAL, Sept. 29, 2015 /CNW Telbec/ - Hydro-Québec would like to remind its low-income customers that they only have three months left to replace their old fridge for $75, $95 or $120, depending on the size of the appliance.
The program makes it possible to replace an old fridge with a new high-efficiency, ENERGY STAR® certified refrigerator that will help lower their electricity bill. An old fridge can guzzle up to five times more electricity than a new ENERGY STAR certified model. The fridge must have been built before 2001 and must be functional.
This program runs until the end of December 2015. To take advantage of the program or obtain more information, call 1 877 222‑0809 or go to www.hydroquebec.com/residential/save-energy/household/fridges-for-low-income-households/.
