Lowe's announces first store in Saskatchewan
Regina location represents continued expansion in Canada; to bring up to 150 jobs
TORONTO, March 18 /CNW/ - Lowe's Companies Canada, ULC (Lowe's) announced the location of its first store in Saskatchewan. Construction will soon be under way at 4555 Gordon Road in Regina and the store is expected to open in the company's fiscal first quarter of 2011. The home improvement retailer is known for helping homeowners find the right equipment and supplies to build, improve, beautify and enjoy their homes.

Lowe's is proud to offer more than 40,000 products under one roof. The home improvement store will have 103,000 square feet of retail sales space. An additional 32,000 square foot garden center will offer an impressive selection of flowers, bushes, trees and garden supplies tailored to the Regina climate and lifestyle.
A store of this size represents an average investment in the community of approximately $20 million ($19.7 million USD)(1) and creates up to 150 new jobs.
