Prepaid plans starting at just $20 for unlimited local calling
MONTRÉAL, March 12, 2018 /CNW Telbec/ - Bell today announced that Lucky Mobile, Canada's new low- cost prepaid wireless service, is now available to residents of Manitoba and Saskatchewan.
Launched initially in Ontario, Alberta and British Columbia in December, Lucky Mobile puts budget-conscious Canadians in complete control of their mobile services with simple, no surprises prepaid plans starting at just $20 for unlimited local talk with no long-term commitment.
Lucky Mobile is ideal for students, people on a fixed income or those without an established credit history who are looking for a straightforward way to access the calling, texting and data they need with no pay-per-use or surprise overage charges. Customers are always notified by text if they are about to use services not included in their prepaid monthly plan, and have the option of purchasing a $3 or $5 Service Pass valid for 30 days if they wish to continue using them.
Service Passes are also an affordable and convenient way for Lucky Mobile customers to stay in touch with friends and family in more than 130 countries around the world. And with Lucky Mobile, all incoming international calls and texts are included in every plan.
"Expanding the reach of Lucky Mobile to Manitoba and Saskatchewan provides even more Canadians with access to a great new low-cost wireless service option," said Blaik Kirby, President of Bell Mobility. "With no credit checks, no long term commitments and no surprises, Lucky is the always predictable and affordable way to access all the wireless services you need."
Lucky Mobile offers service in 19 zones covering most major cities across the country, now including Winnipeg, Regina and Saskatoon. Unlimited in-zone local calling is priced at only $20 per month.
For Lucky customers looking to add texting and data, the $40 Zone plan includes unlimited Canada-wide calls, unlimited Canada-wide and international texts, and 1 GB of data at 3G speeds. And all Lucky Mobile plans include voicemail, unlimited nationwide and international incoming calls and texts, call display, call waiting and 3-way calling.
Customers can also choose from economical province-wide or Canada-wide plans if they are more likely to be using their phones out of zone. Unlimited province-wide calling with 100 Canadian and international texts is only $25 a month. For an additional $10, customers can opt for unlimited Canada-wide calling and unlimited Canada-wide and international texts.
Lucky Mobile customers will receive even more value later this year with a new mobile app to let them talk and text over Wi-Fi outside of their monthly usage plan.
Customers can activate a Lucky Mobile SIM card for just $10 on their own mobile device, or choose from several affordable handsets starting at only $60 from Alcatel, LG and ZTE.
Lucky Mobile is available at Walmart, Wireless Wave, TBooth wireless, Wireless etc, Visions Electronics and select The Source locations or by calling 1-833-88-LUCKY.
