was devastated by a massive quake, L'Union fait la force group was created and will be hosting a benefit concert to help

at the TELUS Theatre.
A diverse group of socially committed local artists will take the stage during this benefit concert to raise funds and help rebuild

, the pearl of the Antilles.

The benefit concert is being held at the TELUS Theatre, which has graciously offered its premises as well as 50% of all beverage proceeds. Employees support this magnanimous gesture and will be volunteering their services for the evening.

To meet the demand for help from Haitian communities here in

, TELUS will make available a telephone centre to collect donations from the public for the duration of the benefit concert. TELUS mobile subscribers can dial *2323 to call in their generous donations. Moreover, the company pledges to contribute an amount equal to the funds raised during the concert up to
$25,000
to further aid the millions of desperate Haitian survivors.
Proceeds from the benefit concert will be donated to three humanitarian organizations: the Red Cross, Médecins du Monde and Clowns Sans Frontières. Tickets are
$20
each and are already available via Admission Network (www.admission.com) and the TELUS Theatre ticket office (1280 Saint-Denis (514) 764-2681). Access to the benefit concert is restricted to adults 18 and over.
