TORONTO, Sept. 29, 2016 /CNW/ - Effective today, Mackenzie Financial Corporation (Mackenzie Investments) is changing the risk rating of Mackenzie International Growth Fund and Mackenzie International Growth Class (the Funds) from medium to low to medium.
This change is reflected in the simplified prospectus of the Funds, which will be filed with Canadian securities regulators in connection with the Funds' 2016 annual renewal.
The investment objectives and strategies of the Funds will not change as a result of this change. Mackenzie Investments determined the risk rating for the Funds in accordance with the methodology recommended by The Investment Funds Institute of Canada. The change to the risk rating reflects the investment approach of the Ivy team who were appointed as the lead portfolio managers of the Funds this past June.
