Mag Copper Limited announces resignation of CEO
TORONTO, Sept. 26, 2012 /CNW/ - Mag Copper Limited ("Mag Copper") ("QUE"- CNSX) announces that Mr. Mani Verma has resigned as Chief Executive Officer and a director of the Company effective immediately. The Board of Directors and Management would like to thank Mr. Verma for his contributions to the Company and wish him success in his future endeavours.
Chris Irwin has agreed to serve as interim President of Mag, filling the vacancy created by Mr. Verma's resignation. Mr. Irwin is a partner with Irwin Lowy LLP, a law firm, providing legal services primarily to natural resource issuers. Mr. Irwin, a director of Mag since September 2011 also serves as a director and/or officer of several public companies including Laramide Resources Ltd. and Roscan Minerals Corporation. He holds a Masters of Laws (Osgoode), a Bachelor of Laws (University of New Brunswick) and a Bachelor of Arts (Bishop's University).
