HAMILTON, ON, July 13, 2016 /CNW/ - The Canadian Corps of Commissionaires Hamilton, announced today that Major Michael Rehill (Ret'd), SBStJ, CD was elected Chair of the Board of Directors, effective immediately

I look forward to continuing to assist Commissionaires with their mission to provide employment to former Canadian Armed Forces and RCMP service men and women, and to provide exceptional security services to our community," said Rehill.
Rehill joined Commissionaires Hamilton in 2005, where he served as a Governor for 11 years, and has held the position of vice-chair for the last four years.
Rehill joined the Army Reserve in 1976 while attending McMaster University in Hamilton, graduating in 1978. He served in uniform for 40 years as an infantry officer and Director of Music, retiring in 2016 as the Deputy Commanding Officer of the Royal Hamilton Light Infantry.
In civilian life, Rehill was a high school principal with the Hamilton Wentworth District School Board, retiring in 2012.
Rehill's other community service includes Past-Chair of St John Ambulance Hamilton, Vice Chair of St Matthews House Hamilton, Past Chair of AY – Alternatives for Youth Hamilton and Co-Chair of the HWDSB Anti-Poverty Task Force.
He is an accomplished conductor, arranger and composer and has coordinated many musical events across the province including 24 years as Director of Music of the Hamilton International Tattoo.
