WINNIPEG, May 9, 2016 /CNW/ - The Telecommunications Employees Association of Manitoba (TEAM-IFPTE Local 161) reached a tentative three-year agreement on May 6.
TEAM's Negotiating Committee unanimously recommended acceptance of the deal which covers over 900 managers and professionals at MTS Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Manitoba Telecom Services Inc. (TSX: MBT).
Ratification of the agreement is expected no later than June 3, 2016.
TEAM is a Local of the International Federation of Professional and Technical Engineers; advocating on behalf of more than 80,000 women and men in professional, technical, administrative and associated occupations in the United States and Canada.
