Managers and Professionals Disappointed MTS Inc. Requests Government Intervention in Bargaining
WINNIPEG, April 15, 2013 /CNW/ - MTS Inc.'s Chief Negotiator shocked TEAM-IFPTE Local 161 (TEAM) by asking the Federal Government to appoint a Conciliation Officer, claiming that negotiations have reached an impasse. Considering that we have resolved a number of issues and detailed monetary proposals have not yet been exchanged, it is preposterous to claim that we're at an impasse.
Regardless of the Company prematurely applying for Government intervention in collective bargaining, TEAM will work with the Conciliator to achieve a collective agreement.
TEAM represents over 1,200 managers and professionals working for MTS Inc. in Manitoba.
