VAL-D'OR, QC, April 3, 2018 /CNW Telbec/ - The Public Inquiry Commission on relations between Indigenous Peoples and certain public services in Québec: listening, reconciliation and progress's team will be heading to the North Shore in May.
Three weeks of hearings will be necessary to examine the issues that will be brought to the CERP's attention. This will be the Commission's second official hearing block outside of Val-d'Or.

Deadline for submitting Briefs
The Commission stated that the deadline for transmitting Briefs will be October 15, 2018. Everyone's participation is welcomed.
This call for Briefs is intended towards any individual or organization who wishes to submit to the Commission information they may have and that they consider of public interest in order to prevent or eliminate, regardless of their origin or cause, all forms of violence, discriminatory practices and differential treatment in the delivery of six public services to Québec's Indigenous People.
The Briefs may be submitted in French, English or any indigenous language present in the province of Québec.
