Manulife Asset Management Hires Othman Domiati as Head of Sales and Relationship Management, Middle East Français
TORONTO and LONDON, April 5, 2016 /CNW/ -- Manulife Asset Management has hired Othman Domiati as Managing Director and Head of Sales and Relationship Management, Middle East. Operating out of the firm's London office, Mr. Domiati reports to Marco Zanuso, CAIA, Head of Distribution for Europe ex-UK and the Middle East.
"Othman has varied and deep experience in asset management and capital markets, having been on the marketing and client facing side for the past 30 years," said Mr. Zanuso. "As we continue to build out our sales team for Europe and the Middle East, we are pleased to add someone of his caliber and expertise to our efforts."
Most recently, Mr. Domiati helped establish Erste Bank of Austria's Capital Markets business in the Middle East. He previously served in a capital-raising role for ECM Asset Management and for Wells Fargo Asset Management, raising funds from the Middle Eastern region focusing on Sovereign Wealth Funds, government institutions and Central Banks.
Mr. Domiati has held various positions with Merrill Lynch, Abn Amro BANK, and UBS in London.
A native of Beirut, he speaks English, French, Italian, German and Arabic. He holds a Bachelor of Civil Engineering from the American University of Beirut and an MBA from Insead, Fontainebleau, France.
