Best Employers for 2011

General Contractor Ranks #25 on the List!

MISSISSAUGA, ON, Oct. 28 /CNW/ - Maple Reinders Constructors Ltd. is pleased to be named among the Top 50 Best Small and Medium Employers in Canada by Queen's University School of Business and Aon Hewitt. This is our 3^rd year participating in the survey and the 3^rd time we have made the list.

Becoming a Top Best Small and Medium Employer is a very detailed and competitive process.  This national awards program recognizes top employers with between 50 and 400 employees. This study mirrors the renowned Best Employer in Canada initiative also run by Aon Hewitt; however, caters to smaller businesses. 

According to Aon Hewitt's definition, employees are engaged when they speak positively about the organization to others, are committed to remaining with their current employers, and are motivated by their organization's leaders, managers, culture and values to go "above and beyond" to contribute to business success.

The rankings are primarily determined using the results from Employee Opinion Surveys.  Here, 21 key engagement drivers are detailed and analyzed.  The evaluation process also includes the assessment of organization practices and perspectives from the leadership team.  This year, more than 250 companies across Canada registered to participate in the study.  The study, now in its fifth year, is published in Maclean's Magazine.
